PATRICK ERLEY, PA-C

Pat developed his love for medicine when he joined Western State Mountain Rescue Team in Gunnison, Colorado in 2007.  As an EMT for 6 years, he participated in many missions and technical rescues for lost and injured subjects.  During the summers, he spent his time as a Mountain Guide in Alaska, Washington and Colorado.  Eventually, his love for medicine took him to Montana to attend Rocky Mountain College for PA school.  He now lives in Red Lodge, Montana, practicing Family and Emergency Medicine in rural clinics.  He has a particular interest for altitude illness, trauma and endurance medicine.  He and his family enjoy skiing, trail running, and exploring the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness.

WILLIAM OLEY, MD, FAAFP, FAWM

Billy grew up on the South shore of Lake Erie spending as much time as possible on the water and in the outdoors.  Once he finished his medical training in Ohio his desire to practice full-spectrum rural medicine led him to Red Lodge, MT.

He has practiced rural emergency medicine for the past 15 years and has a special interest in rural trauma care and rural trauma system development.  He is the chair of the Eastern Montana Regional Trauma Advisory Committee, as well as chair of Emergency/Critical Care at Beartooth Billings Clinic.

An interest in pre-hospital care has led him to be a medical advisor for Red Lodge Mountain Ski Patrol and Medical Director for the Wyoming Division of  Red lodge EMS.  In addition to his clinical duties, Billy truly enjoys teaching.  He is teaching faculty for the University of Washington and University of North Dakota Schools of Medicine as well as an instructor for Comprehensive Advanced Life Support and Advanced Wilderness Life Support.

Living in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains with his family he continues to spend as much time as possible in wild places.  He has diverse interests--hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, and backcountry horse packing are just a few of his outdoor pursuits.
